Pastor Tim at Liquid Church gave a nice shout out to one of our clients.
Nobody likes being locked out of their favorite apps. Especially Instagram. But what if that little interruption actually helped us put something far more important first?
Recently, Pastor Tim at Liquid Church gave a nice shout-out to one of our clients, Bible Lock App, after a young adult leader told him:
“Pastor Tim, you don’t have to delete Instagram. Download Bible Lock App. It helps put God first.”
I love that. Not because it’s some revolutionary technology, but because it’s such a simple idea with the potential for real spiritual impact.
Bible Lock pauses access to selected social media apps until you’ve spent time in Scripture. That’s it. Before another scroll, another reel, another hour disappearing into your phone, a little reminder to spend time with God.
And here’s what excites me. This wasn’t a paid endorsement or some elaborate marketing campaign. It was word of mouth, from a young adult leader to a pastor. In the Church. For the Church.
Imagine if thousands of students, parents, and church leaders began their day with God’s Word before giving their attention to the world’s feed.
That’s the kind of multiplication I’m interested in.
Sometimes the best innovation isn’t about getting people to do something new. It’s about helping them make room for what matters most.
Less scrolling. More Scripture. And perhaps 10X the blessing from a habit that lasts.
Pastors, give Bible Lock a try. And if you love it, share it with your church. Good things are worth passing along.
