Made for this.

Witnessing this power, sensing the movement, truly stretches my understanding, and belief.

I’ve only seen, experienced, this a handful of times.

The idea, inspiration, thought, fulfillment, contentment, confirmation, leading, sensing, whatever we can call it. The direction of the spirit.

You know in Genesis when we read, God created the Heavens and the Earth, and then He said, “It is good.” When we read, He created man and woman in His image and repeated, “It is good.”

This is the confirmation we have realized. It is good.

And not some chocolate milk shake, or mountain top sunrise, and even a ‘whoa my wife is cute‘ — good. Even though I’m totally about a good chocolate shake, a crisp sunrise on a dark mountainside, or well you know!

Like, you were made for this — good.

It’s more than just enjoyable, pleasant, agreeable, or pleasing. Way more.

It’s an abundance. Completely filled.

Recently I’ve shared with close friends what it’s like to have every bit of discontentment disappear.

Gone.

You know what I would have given for the last 20 years to know what I was made for. Anything. Everything. I would have given it all. I’m not sure where to begin in sharing with you the journey Myra and I have been on the last two decades.

We stepped out of the grey and ambiguous.

We left what was comfortable and familiar.

Over. And over again.

We intentionally stepped onto a path following a light, joy, hope, peace, and a love. Something we knew we wanted. And honestly we knew we needed more of. But, as you can imagine it took every ounce of faith to take the first step.

I can’t tell you, looking back, reading through past journals there’s proof that it is anything but easy. But it’s what we were made for.

He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20

16 years ago I asked for God to move a mountain. I shared this before, but I truly wanted to see Him do it. Crazy thing was I believe He could — and still can.

He is just getting started. Our adventure is just beginning.
