The Power of Partnership: Navigating Change with Purpose

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across diverse organizations, each with its own set of challenges and opportunities. But some projects stand out—not just for their complexity, but for the incredible people who make them meaningful.

One such experience has been my work with The Chosen and its global expansion efforts. The journey hasn’t been simple. A complex merger, multiple stakeholders, and the need for clear strategic alignment all required deep collaboration, adaptability, and trust.

I’m incredibly grateful for the kind words shared by The Chosen’s Asia Pacific Regional Director about my role in this transition. More than anything, it underscores the importance of partnership—not just in the sense of working together, but in truly understanding each other’s perspectives, challenges, and goals.

Bridging Teams, Building Alignment

One of the key aspects of this journey was bringing together distinct groups—including the Global Council, regional teams, CAS teams, the CAS board and leadership, and the 5&2 leadership—to create a unified vision. Mergers and transitions often bring complexity, but they also present an opportunity to align on a deeper level. The key? Active listening, honest dialogue, and a shared commitment to the mission.

Coaching with Integrity

A significant part of this work was guiding regional directors through challenges, providing both encouragement and direct feedback. Leadership in global organizations requires a balance of advocacy and accountability—ensuring that every team member is equipped to lead with clarity while staying true to the organization’s larger vision.

Strategy and Stewardship

Another essential aspect of this work was developing a grassroots activation budget to expand The Chosen’s reach. The goal wasn’t just about numbers—it was about impact. By structuring the budget in a way that maximized engagement and viewership, we were able to ensure that every investment served the mission. Additionally, I worked to establish a clear reporting framework for transparency and accountability—because good stewardship isn’t just a financial responsibility; it’s a leadership responsibility.

A Shared Vision for the Global Church

At the heart of all this is something bigger than strategies, budgets, or operations. It’s about a shared love for the global Church and the incredible opportunity we have to steward something that impacts lives worldwide. The Chosen is more than a series—it’s a movement. And movements require leaders who are willing to listen, learn, and lead with both wisdom and humility.

I’m grateful for the ongoing partnership with The Chosen’s incredible leaders, and I look forward to continuing this journey together.
