Palm Sunday starts what was prophesied 500 years before Christ returned to Jerusalem on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

This last Sunday we begin the seven day journey toward Easter and wrap up the message series, DNA of God. For each day this week we are walking through the scripture and focus that tied to each day of Holy Week leading up to the crucification of Christ.

Usually I would custom draw icons for creative content, mostly because I enjoy it! But this week I was in a time crunch and thought, “I bet this is something Tome.app and .ai could draw quickly.” Still blown away.

How to

I wrote in the .AI Dall-e image generator prompt:

I began each prompt with “line art logo style Hebrew old style” and then clarified the object desired “donkey and palm branch”, “whip that Jesus used in the temple”, “loaf of bread and wine cup”, “crown of thorns of Jesus”, “Jesus prepares for the cross”, “cave tomb with round stone door”, “Roman soldier guarding round tomb door”, “Jesus walks out of tomb”, “sun rays coming out of rock.”

After using Tome.app to create the icons, I transferred to Adobe Illustrator to convert to outlines and vector line art. This process took one to five minutes per icon. Initially I was cool with the simple black and white presentation timeline with scripture references and description of each day. But then I realized it’s Easter and people like bright color. So the final result is a bit brighter.
