On Mission with Living HOPE

How can a US kid’s event impact an entire community with safe and living water around the globe? Listen in as Pastor Chad Gullion shares how and why their church shows God’s love by putting others first for their annual Summer VBS.

Today we are discussing what it means to live on mission locally as well as globally, as scripture commands unto Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. I’m Larry Lundstrom with WaterMission talking today with Pastor Chad Gullion, Living Hope Ballantyne, NC.

Recently featured at WaterMission.org, several churches made an intentional effort to share about how the church can serve the last, lost, and least around the world through Safe and Living Water.

Many children are hopeful and confident they can change the world. This inspirational spirit was demonstrated this summer by kids in Vacation Bible Schools across the country who raised funds for Water Mission’s safe water initiatives.

As children learned about the global water crisis and the serious effect it has on kids like them, they were inspired to help.

Nearly 650 children from multiple states across the US raised more than $15,000 for Water Mission this summer during their Vacation Bible Schools. What I love about this is the funds raised were used to bring safe and living water to communities like this one, in Tanzania, celebrating a recent water project.

I love this, on so many levels. If you are interested in how your church can partner in this effort, let’s talk.
