When a Simple “Yes” Goes Further Than You Think

I didn’t expect to ever have an IMDb page.
It’s not something I set out to chase — it just quietly showed up one day, listing some of the projects I’ve had the privilege to help lead and create.

Seriously. How cool is this? Check out this fresh IMDb Page — and listing projects I’ve had the honor to with global grassroots marketing and ministry relationships.

It’s wild. I got a text from a friend saying “Hey, I just saw your name in the credits for The Chosen”. And I’m like “What?!” Hah seriously. I had to go look for myself.

For me, this is all being available, bringing your whole heart, mind, and God-given skill and about a next step — a calling. This is another reminder that obedience — even behind the curtain — can lead to doors you never imagined opening. Every title on that page is really about the teams, the prayer, and the purpose behind the scenes.

Every title or partnership on that page points back to a team of people who believed God could use creativity, technology, and storytelling to reach lives in ways we never imagined.

I think about the early days — the long hours, small teams, and the wild faith that said, “Let’s try this anyway.” Whether it was global distribution for The Chosen, new platforms for churches, or innovation projects that tied faith and technology together, each one started the same way: with a simple yes.

A “yes” to serve.
A “yes” to build.
A “yes” to trust that obedience matters more than applause.

And looking at that IMDb link now, I have a full sense of gratitude. Gratitude that God lets us do work that outlives us, that stories told in truth and beauty can travel farther than we ever could.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
Colossians 3:23

If you’re reading this, maybe your “yes” feels small right now. Maybe it’s unseen. But here’s the thing — God never wastes obedience. One small “yes” can ripple further than you’ll ever know.
