SAFE WATER + SUSTAINABLE Progress

2.2 billion people around the world do not have access to safe water. That’s 30% of the worlds population. And this isn’t a unsolvable problem. We have the resources, tools and now tech. All that’s lacking is agreement to see the solution applied.

Right now there is an emergence of innovation, we might even say “perfect timing” to bring simple and affordable access to safe sustainable water for those who quite literally are poisoning themselves with unsanitary water. How can we fix this?

Water Mission and orgs alike are at work around the world, where access is permitted, to bring safe water systems for entire communities. Yes. It’s happening as we speak. More people are getting access to safe water because of organizations who care enough to be a part of the solution.

And, what’s exciting, we now have the capability to monitor the systems for ongoing maintenance and sustainability. This allows for real-time usage reporting, flow rate and more.

Remote Monitoring Technology

Water Mission combines remote monitoring technology with our proprietary Monitoring and Alerting Platform (MAP) to provide instant, reliable data on the performance of safe water projects around the world. The SatWater Meter and Communicator are able to measure flow rate, chlorine level, system pressure, well depth, and more, while the online MAP provides real-time insight on acute technical issues and long-term performance trends.

Sure. We don’t have to have the IOT to bring water. But we’ve found it’s more reliable and cost effective for the long-term for water systems equipped with monitoring to keep the water active, flowing.

Now, what about areas of the world that have limited or no ability for broadband connectivity? Here’s some truly exciting news. Starlink and SpaceX are ahead of this problem by lightyears.

So, how can you help close the gap to bring safe water to those who currently are struggling to get to any water, even drinking unsafe water just to live? Consider receiving updates and insight from orgs like Water Mission. Take action and send a donation of any amount, be a part of the Thirst Quencher program. Yes. Any donates makes a huge difference as this solution is relatively inexpensive.
