When you look at a favorite in your career, can you pick out one that stands out? One where you felt most alive and so were your teammates?
Here’s one of mine. It was a prototype men’s stadium conference in six cities across North America. The conference brand and name, Act Like Men: a two-day men’s event featuring internationally recognized speakers as well as performing artists Lecrae and Vertical Church Band. To date there have been Act Like Men events in Long Beach, Toronto, Indianapolis, Dallas, and Chicago, attended by over 40,000 men. And this continues, now through man camps, men’s bike rallys and mini-conferences throughout churches around the nation.
Our creative team delivered a conference identity in addition to a wide range of applications, including event merchandise, a nationally released book, experiential signage, media & production design, and advertising campaigns. Well done Nate Baron and Jon Rohlf.
Here’s what really happened.
We worked tirelessly to get the word out and ultimately fill stadiums, tickets were sold, and each time we refreshed the online report we celebrated, we had fun, yes with sweat, elbow grease, and also cheer and challenge. We delivered the goal of a remarkable, man-friendly, bold, clean and strong, campaign. And what’s more, we together, delivered a first-class event experience for tens of thousands.
